Biostimulants & Amino Acids
Biostimulants can improve nutrient uptake and efficiency and increase tolerance to environmental stress, advancing yield development.
G & A can help you incorporate modern techniques and products, in combination with foliar nutrition, to advance your crop yield.
Understanding the effect of Amino Acids on Plants
For many people these products are a mystery. Consider them an aid toward developing healthier crops that can contribute huge gains by maximising the natural efficiency of the plant and nutritional uptake.
• Protein Synthesis
• Stress Resistance
• Effect on Photosynthesis
• Action on the Stomas
• Chelating Effect on Plant Nutrients
• Pollination and Fruit Formation
• Amino Acids and Phytohormones

With our knowledge of how we can affect the plant, we can advise on the best times to use the product in your production cycle to give the greatest benefit at different crop stages.
Combining the Amino Acid product with the correct crop nutrition, in the individual crop management programmes, can achieve some excellent results.
Choosing an Amino acid which has a suitable content and % of amino acids is important to obtaining the right result.
We can give help and guidance with choosing an Amino Acid product, with suitable content and strength, and advise on the best time to use the product in your production cycle.
Other Forms of Biostimulants
Humic and Fulvic Acids
These products can be used to provide a synergistic approach with crop nutrition and enhance uptake of other products in the correct timing slots.
Understanding the benefit allows you to use the right product at the right time in your management strategy.
We can provide guidance on how and when to use these in the growth stages of various crops.
Adopt these principles and you remove the mystery and apply science to your decision making process.
Humic Acid is more suitable when applied to the soil at drilling or planting. This molecule works well around the root zone and is very good at binding to new roots and increasing nutrient and water uptake.
Although Humics are applied as foliar applications, the molecule size is too large to enter the leaf and so the greatest benefit is not achieved.
Fulvic Acid is the most appropriate for foliar applications with other plant nutrients in the mix. It has an extremely small molecule that can enter the lamina of the leaf going directly into the plant.
Fulvic is an extremely good chelation agent and has the ability to carry other nutrients in the mix into the plant attached to the fulvic molecule.
